FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Junior forward Jacorey Williams will not be returning to the Razorback men’s basketball team for the upcoming season, according to a release from head coach Mike Anderson.

Anderson made the following statement about the decision:

“Jacorey has been a part of our program for the past three years and we wish him the best as he pursues his future away from Razorback Basketball. Members of our program carry a responsibility to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the expectations we have established for our student-athletes both on and off the court.”

Williams played in 96 games during his three-year career with the Razorbacks, averaging 3.8 points per game and 2.3 rebounds per contest. He shot 41% from the field and added 43 steals and 31 blocks.

Williams and two other Razorback basketball players, Anton Beard and Dustin Thomas, were arrested July 22 after police said they were seen spending counterfeit $20 bills.

Williams is also connected to two separate assault incidents at bars in Fayetteville, police incident reports show.
