Law Enforcement Agencies Participating In Drive Sober Campaign

FORT SMITH (KFSM) — Multiple law enforcement agencies will participate in a nationwide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, according to releases.

Releases from Fort Smith, Van Buren and Rogers Police Departments and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office stated law enforcement will be increased from August 21-September 7 as part of a national crackdown on drunk driving.

Drivers should expect to see extra patrol vehicles, DUI checkpoints and increased alerts on drunk-driving over the 20 days.
