FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – A day after the men’s program, the Arkansas women’s basketball program released their official 2015-16 basketball schedule and it’s full of teams that played in the postseason last spring.
Arkansas tips off the season with an exhibition game against Missouri Southern on Nov. 8 then the regular season begins on Nov. 13 against Southeastern Louisiana.
The Razorbacks have non-conference games against South Dakota State, Tulsa, Louisiana-Lafayette and Oregon State all before the month of the December. Arkansas ravels to both Rutgers and Butler in the first two weeks of December before facing Texas in Oklahoma City on Dec. 20.
Jimmy Dykes’ team will begin SEC play on the road at defending SEC champion South Carolina before returning home to face Texas A&M on Jan. 7. The first four SEC games for Arkansas will come against teams who reached the NCAA Tournament.
Arkansas will play 16 games against teams that were in the postseason a year ago.
