PEA RIDGE (KFSM) –Pea Ridge Police arrested two male juveniles on suspicion of burglary after the Pea Ridge Museum was burglarized about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday (August 19).

The juveniles were arrested within four hours of the burglary call, according to a statement from the police department.

The juveniles had taken a donation box, stomped on it outside the building and appeared to have removed some of the donations, the report stated. The contents from the box were returned to the museum.

The release stated that it was also determined the juveniles had been involved earlier in the evening with a criminal mischief call regarding windows being broken and illegal trespass into an unoccupied house on Dodge Street.

A third male juvenile was also arrested in regards to the incident on Dodge Street that had not been involved in the museum burglary, according to the statement.

The two juveniles face charges of felony commercial burglary, two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief and misdemeanor trespass.

The third juvenile faces charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief and misdemeanor criminal trespass.
