PARIS (KFSM) – The City of Paris water department has been out in full force since midnight Thursday (August 20) after a main water line breaks on the west side of Paris, according to City Hall.

According to the city’s Facebook page, all households west of Roseville Street will be without water. Citizens living in eastern Paris will lose pressure as the water tanks begin to drain.

The city is asking that residents use their water sparingly.

A boil order is currently not in place because some water is still in the tanks and they are not completely empty, according to officials with City Hall.

Crews said that water storage tanks will take approximately 24 hours to refill once the break is repaired.

Notice will be posted on the City of Paris Facebook page if a boil order does go into effect.
