Arkansas No. 18 in AP Preseason Poll

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - The University of Arkansas is ranked No. 18 in the Associated Press annual preseason poll released Sunday.

This marks the first time the Razorbacks have been ranked in the AP poll under head coach Bret Bielema, and first time ranked since Sept. 4, 2012. The ranking is the 26th appearance in the preseason AP poll, and the Hogs have been ranked in the AP poll on 410 occasions in school history.

Of the 25 ranked teams, eight of them come from the Southeastern Conference. Arkansas is scheduled to play six teams ranked in the preseason poll. Ranked SEC teams include Alabama (No. 3), Auburn (No. 6), Georgia (No. 9), LSU (No. 14), Ole Miss (No. 17), Missouri (No. 24), and Tennessee (No. 25).
