FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — A Fayetteville High School art teacher gets to show off her work in the Firehouse Publications children’s book, “If Picasso Went to the Zoo,” by Eric Gibbons.

Diane Stinebaugh was one of 50 art teachers from across the globe who collaborated on the diverse  collection of poems and illustrations in the book, according to an FPS press release. Each teacher chose a famous artist and an alliterative animal to paint in the artist’s style. Stinebaugh’s work features a bison painted in the style of Alice Baber.

Each piece of artwork has a poem that shares information about the artist, genre and the featured animal, the release states.

The book is available for purchase through Amazon or directly from Firehouse Publications. It is also available in a number of museum bookstores around the U.S.
