Active Shooter On Mississippi State Campus Apprehended
STARKVILLE, MISS. — Mississippi State University was put on lockdown after there were reports of an active shooter, who has since been apprehended.
An alert from the school said there was an “active shooter” on campus near Lee Hall. There are no reported injuries or shots fired.
The school’s emergency alert Twitter account, MSU Maroon Alert, tweeted that the school is issuing an all clear. Classes and campus operations will resume at 2 p.m.
