BOONEVILLE (KFSM) — A black bear was spotted near Hill Street and Moore Avenue inside the Booneville city limits on Friday morning (Aug. 28), according to a Facebook post on the Booneville Police Department’s page.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission attempted to drive the bear further east, hoping it would continue in that direction and leave the city, the post said.
Booneville Police are asking citizens to contact the department if they spot the bear inside the city so that further action can be taken.
