FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) - The United Way of Northwest Arkansas is teaming up with local businesses in the area to launch its workplace campaign.

Congressman Steve Womack spoke to a crowd about the campaign at a pep rally on Thursday, 08/28. He said it was astronomical the amount of children who are on free or reduced lunches in Northwest Arkansas.

Companies who decide to opt-in either choose to make donations by payroll deductions, or they can choose to make a one-time donation gift.

The event is free, but seating is limited.
