Police Release Photo Of Suspected Bentonville Bank Robber

BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — First Security Bank located at 2501 E. Central Ave. in Bentonville was robbed around 12:30 p.m. Friday (Aug. 28), according to the Bentonville Police Department.

Police said they are searching for a white man, in his mid-to-late 30s, approximately 5’9″ with facial hair, dark-framed glasses and a heavy build. The suspect left the bank on foot, according to police. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a red baseball hat and a gray, mock turtleneck shirt with long sleeves, but those items have since been recovered, police said.

His current direction of travel is unknown, according to police.

No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
