Two Buildings Destroyed In Early Morning Fire In Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)–  Fire crews responded to a fire between Garland Avenue and Sligo Street in Fayetteville Saturday morning (August 29).

According to Fayetteville Police,  the call came in just after 5 a.m. The fire affected three buildings in all, according to dispatch. One of the buildings was at 1396 Pettigrew Street, according to dispatch.

Fire officials said two of the warehouses were abandoned and didn’t have anything of value in them. They said the third warehouse was also damaged, but some of the items inside may be salvageable.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
