FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- The University of Arkansas is expanding its concession options at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The university unveiled a list of new food items that will be available at various concessions stand locations inside the stadium this season. Senior Associate Athletic Director Chris Freet said the expanded menu came after a survey showed fans were hungry for more options.

"Ticket prices have increased, there needs to be more built around the game, and everything needs to be unique, or uncommon as we like to say," Freet said.

Some of the items include the Mac Attack Burger, a hamburger topped with macaroni and cheese. There's also the Macaroni & Cheese Dog, a quarter-pound hot dog covered in macaroni and cheese and bacon, a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and a pork tenderloin sandwich.

Freet said all of the new items are priced under $10, so everyone can get a taste.

"I've talked to people that are 50 or older and say I'll be sick if I eat that hamburger with mac and cheese on it, I talked to the younger generation that say I can't wait to try it," Freet said.

Senior Julie Young said both she and her parents will be trying the new food at Saturday's home-opener against UTEP.

"Kind of exciting a mac and cheese burger sounds kind of weird but I'm intrigued, I would definitely try it I really would," Young said.

Young said the fifth item on the list, the buffalo chicken nachos, sounded most appealing to her.

"I love spicy things so I'm sure that will taste great," Young said.

Freet said also new this year, patrons will be able to use credit cards at all the concession stands near the south endzone. He said the new service also applies to all club-area seating.

Saturday's game against UTEP kicks off at 2:30 p.m.
