BENTONVILLE (KFSM) -- Wounded veterans from across the country competed in the CrossFit Mid America Championships. The competition was meant to celebrate family, fitness and freedom.
Veteran Daniel Crane said, "For me it means everything because this is what has saved my life on my road to recovery." Crane competed in the competition, although he lost his hand.
The veterans competed in a three day event, and all proceeds went to Guardians for Heroes, which was founded by U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.
Senator Boozman and Congressman Womack were also in attendance.
