FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Brandon Allen’s huge first week got even better just before the Arkansas quarterback played his second game of his senior year.
Allen was name the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week for his performance in the Razorbacks’ 48-13 win over UTEP in the season opener.
Allen completed 14-of-18 passes for a career high 308 yards and tied a career high with four touchdown passes.
The Fayetteville native was voted as this week’s winner over seven other college quarterbacks nominated for the award.
