GREENLAND (KFSM)- Greenland police are investigating an armed robbery that took place in the parking lot of Tobo’s Truckstop Saturday afternoon, according to police chief Gary Ricker.

Ricker said the incident happened around 4:50 p.m. He said the victim told police he got into a purple Chevy Impala with a woman he knew. The victim said a man in the backseat pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

The victim told police he gave the man a few hundred dollars, then got out of the car.

Ricker said the man and woman left the truckstop in that same vehicle. He said state police are assisting in the search.
