LOWELL (KFSM)- A truck drove into a home Saturday evening (Sept. 12) on Hickory Creek Rd, according to deputies with the Benton County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies said the incident happened around 7 p.m. They said the driver of the flatbed truck lost control of the vehicle after the brakes went out when he was going down a hill.
Deputies said the driver was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be okay. The homeowners were in the house at the time but were not injured.
Several power lines were taken down when the truck crashed into the house, according to deputies. Power on the street is out until the lines can be repaired.
