ROGERS (KFSM)- The annual NRA Weekend took place Saturday and Sunday at the Cabela's in Rogers.
People were able to renew and sign up for memberships with the association. There were also free seminars on home firearm safety, basics of pistols and personal protection inside the home.
"They can be used for a variety of different reasons, they're another tool in your tool belt and if you're educated on that, then you can learn that they're not a bad tool, you just have to be educated on safety," Instructor Renee Newman said.
Anyone who renewed their membership or signed up received a $25 Cabela's gift card. Newman said around 115 people took advantage of the promotion.
