FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Arkansas Razorbacks senior wide receiver Keon Hatcher will be out for at least six weeks following a foot injury, head coach Brett Bielema announced at a media conference Monday (Sept. 14), the same day Hatcher is having surgery.

“I feel so bad for Keon,” Arkansas offensive coordinator Dan Enos said. “He is a great young man and has done a tremendous job leading this team and making plays.”

Hatcher had seven catches for 92 yards in the 16-12 loss against Toledo. The senior led Arkansas in 2014 in both receptions and yards and leads the Razorbacks with 13 catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Enos said the Razorbacks have talented players in the wide receivers’ room and it will be time for them to step up this Saturday against Texas Tech.

“Jojo [Robinson] has a great personality. He is a great young man and he is going to have an opportunity to play this weekend,” Enos said. “We are going to emphasize the heck out of improving the run game and I think we will see better results Saturday and moving forward.”
