FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Whole Foods has pushed back the opening date for its Fayetteville store.
Originally the store was scheduled to be open before the end of 2015, but the new opening date has been pushed back to spring 2016.
5NEWS received the following statement from Whole Foods about the delay:
“The new store opening process is one that varies from store to store (based on construction, weather and a variety of factors) and tends to fluctuate. Our team is working hard to make sure the store is perfect. We are extremely excited to open our Fayetteville store in Spring 2016!”
Fayetteville city leaders helped break ground on the store in 2014.
5NEWS spoke with city representatives who said they were not aware of the delay until they saw new reports about it.
