SEBASTIAN COUNTY (KFSM) — Judge David Hudson has announced that he will file for re-election to serve as the Sebastian County judge, according to a press release.
Hudson has served as the county judge since 1999 and serves as the vice president of the Arkansas County Judges Association, the release stated.
It also stated that he was appointed to the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee Court Security and Emergency Preparedness and was recently appointed by Gov. Asa Hutchinson to serve as a trustee of the Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System.
Hudson said plans are in process in 2015 to upgrade the Sebastian County EMS facility in Greenwood and that county emergency operations will continue to be a priority for his office including emergency response field exercises and tabletop planning sessions, according to the release.
