FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — The Arkansas Razorbacks were named one of the top programs in college baseball by D1Baseball.com on Tuesday.
The Razorbacks were named No. 12 out of all colleges and were also ranked No. 5 in the SEC, according to an Arkansas Razorbacks press release.
The SEC led all the conferences with 13 of its 14 teams making the top 100, and four in the top 10.
The list was compiled based on recent history, coaching staff quality, facilities, scholarship and financial aid situations, conference dynamics, and recruiting and player development history, the release states.
The Razorbacks have made the NCAA tournament each of the past 13 years that Dave Van Horn has been head coach. Last year, the team made their second trip to the College World Series in four years, and they are returning several key players for the 2015-2016 season.
