FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- Hunters across the state were excited to get out for the first day of archery hunting season on Saturday (Sept. 26).
Father and son hunting duo Jordan and Trevor Tanksleary were among those out in their stands just before sunrise.
Archery season lasts until Feb. 29, 2016.
Modern rifle season starts on Nov. 14 and goes until Dec. 6.
