ROGERS (KFSM) -- A vehicle fire is causing major traffic delays in Northwest Arkansas on Monday (Sept. 28).

The vehicle is on mile marker 81, in Rogers, at the Pleasant Grove exit, said the Rogers Fire Chief. It's blocking the southbound lanes.

A passenger car hit a metal barrier and burst into flames, he said.

The driver called 911 to report the accident. There were no injuries.

Three fire engines are on the scene, working to put out the flames, the chief said.

Two additional accidents occurred after the car fire, also contributing to the traffic disruption. Northbound traffic is slowed through the area.
