BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) — A former Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputy is under investigation, according to the Bentonville Police Department.
Police Chief Jon Simpson said the department received the criminal investigation involving Jason Wood Tuesday (Sept. 29).
According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Wood is no longer working for the sheriff’s office.
Simpson and the sheriff’s office said they cannot comment on an active investigation or release any more information at this time.
