FORT SMITH (KFSM) - Students, faculty, and staff at the University of Arkansas: Fort Smith gathered for a Topping Out Ceremony.
The group signed a steel beam that would become a part of a new recreation and wellness center on the campus. This is the beam that will be placed at the very top of the building. Construction on the center began in April, 2015. The school says they hope to have it open by Fall classes of next year.
