FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — The Greedy Goats are back.

The goats are returning to Wilson Park in Fayetteville Tuesday (Oct. 6) to clear out invasive plants from an area in the southeast corner of the park.

The goats will be “work” at the park each day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Friday, unless it is raining. A temporary electric fence will be set up to safely contain the goats and their owners will be present onsite.

Once the goats are gone, volunteers will continue to clear out invasive plant species. Once the unwanted vegetation is under control, the hillside area will be replanted with native shrubs and trees.

The city also used Greedy Goats’ services this summer.
