4th Annual Taste Of LeFlore County Returns To Poteau

LEFLORE COUNTY (KFSM) — If you’re hoping to try something new for dinner, you’re in luck! The 4th Annual Taste of LeFlore County is happening today (Thursday, Oct. 8) in Poteau.

The event is taking place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the LeFlore County Museum, located on Dewey Avenue, and is hosted by the LeFlore County Historical Society.

Several local businesses will be serving up some of their favorite dishes; including Dave’s Meat Market, Cakes and More, Western Sizzlin, Sweet Escape Winery, The Coffee Cup, Loretta’s Fried Pies and much more.

Folks can enjoy their meal indoors, or out. The Dulcimer Sisters will have live music set up outside for guests to enjoy their unique sound. Tours of the LeFlore County Museum will also be available.

Tickets for the event are $20 per person and can be purchased at the door. All of the proceeds raised will go towards operating costs of the LeFlore County Museum.
