Johnson County Deputy’s Home Burglarized

CLARKSVILLE (KFSM) — Clarksville police are investigating a burglary that happened at a Johnson County deputy’s home on Saturday (October 17) evening.

Police say the incident happened after 5:00 p.m. at a home on Shady Grove Road.

Police say several items were stolen including the deputy’s service handgun as well as the deputy’s personal vehicle, a 2009 Dodge Charger that was parked in the driveway.

Around 4:30 p.m., police reported that the service handgun and the unoccupied 2009 Dodge Charger were recovered in an unidentified area of Franklin County.

The incident is currently under active investigation as police continue to search for a suspect.
