(NFL.com) — Former Alabama running back Altee Tenpenny was killed in a one-car wreck on Tuesday night (Oct. 21).
Tenpenny’s vehicle struck a utility pole outside of Glen Allan, Miss., sending the vehicle airborne, Corporal Tony Dunn of the Mississippi Highway Patrol Department of Public Affairs told the Alabama Media Group. Tenpenny was ejected from the vehicle, according to the report. He was rushed to Delta Regional Medical Center, where he died from injuries suffered during the accident, per the report.
University of Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema shared his condolences to Tenpenny’s family and friends.
