FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)-- A Bentonville man arrested on suspicion of capital murder in his relative's death is scheduled to appear before a judge today (Oct. 26).
Police said they found David Allen, 25, of Fayetteville with several stab wounds at 1:22 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 24) at Stadium Apartments. According to a news release from the Fayetteville Police Department, Cantrell Graydon, 31, of Bentonville has been arrested on suspicion of capital murder.
Police also stated that Allen and Graydon were related. Graydon told police the incident began with a family altercation where he describes then "flipping out" and grabbing the knife to stab him.
A police report states investigators found Allen with 10 stab wounds in the back, and one in the neck area.
The body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock.
Graydon is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
