FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- The daughter of Tyson Foods Inc. founder Don Tyson was arrested Sunday (Oct. 26) after she pointed a shotgun at a couple parked outside her house, according to her police report.
Carla Ann Tyson, 59, is facing terroristic threatening and aggravated assault charges, according to Washington County Detention Center records. She was released on $2,500 bond.
A 22-year-old man and his 21-year-old girlfriend told officers they parked in front of Tyson's residence after not being able to park in front of the girl's house on Cleburn Street, according to the report.
The girl told 5NEWS parking in front of her family's home was blocked, due to a party happening down the road at another residence.
After sitting there for a few moments, Tyson knocked on the passenger-side window and then pointed a 16 gauge double-barreled shotgun at the two saying they "needed to move or else," the report states. Tyson told the couple they were on private property and were scaring her, according to the report.
The couple and Tyson both called the police, the report states.
The man and woman told officers they felt like their lives had been threatened, according to the report. Tyson told police she was worth a billion dollars and was afraid of being kidnapped, but later admitted that she probably had not handled the situation properly, the report states.
The girl, and her family, told 5NEWS they have never had previous issues with Tyson, until the shotgun was pointed at the couple.
Tyson's arraignment has been scheduled for Nov. 25, according to detention center records.
