FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Homecoming festivities at the University of Arkansas began Sunday (Oct. 25) and will continue throughout the week, culminating with the Razorback’s football game against University of Tennessee at Martin on Saturday (Oct. 31).

The theme for this year’s homecoming is Flashback Fayetteville, according to a U of A news release.

The first events on Sunday (Oct. 25) were the Color Those Hogs 5K and a food drive that will benefit the Full Circle Campus Food Pantry.

A banner competition, judged on creativity and the theme, will be Monday (Oct. 26).

Tuesday (Oct. 27) will bring Thank A Donor Day, another food drive and a flag football Pigskin Classic at 6 p.m. in the intramural fields.

A Community Concert was added to the Homecoming lineup this year. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the Gardens on Wednesday (Oct. 28).

Friday (Oct. 30) will be a full day, as a lawn decoration competition will begin at noon, followed by a Senior Walk dedication on Old Main Lawn at 4 p.m., and the day will end with the Dickson Street Homecoming Parade and a pep rally, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Dickson Street.

The rest of homecoming festivities will end on Saturday (Oct. 31) with the Hog Wild Tailgate from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House, followed by the Razorback football game against UT-Martin at 3 p.m.
