BENTONVILLE (KFSM) -- The Bentonville Police Department is searching for the suspects pictured above Thursday (Oct. 29) following several reports of residential burglaries in the past few weeks, according to a release from the department.

The suspects targeted homes that had the garage doors open during nighttime hours, according to police. The suspects then came into the homes through the open garage doors and stole items in the immediate area, police said.

Police said burglaries have been reported in north Bentonville in the Hidden Springs subdivision, the Woods Creek subdivision, and in the southeastern corner of the city.

One of the houses that was burglarized has a security camera system, which caught the thieves in action.

"I don't think this was their first time and I don't think it's going to be their last time either," said Evelyn Mincke. "I'm feeling violated, I'm feeling shaken up, scared for my kids and obviously a little nervous that this could happen to somebody else."

The Minckes said that in total, the thieves stole about $5,000 worth of items, including a brand new tool set that was going to be a present for the couple's 6-year-old son.

"Some of the things that were here that were valuable they didn't take," Jeremy Mincke said. "It's just baffling that they were just bold and brazen. They were just doing it for the fun of it, it seemed like."

Anyone with information regarding the suspects or burglaries is urged to call the Bentonville Police Department.
