FORT CHAFFEE (KFSM) — Fort Chaffee will be holding  maneuver training sessions all week, meaning that explosions and loud noises could be seen and felt around the Fort Chaffee community.

The training will begin on Monday (Nov. 2) and go through Sunday (Nov. 8), according to a press release.

Part of the week will include weapons training and explosives, which could produce noise, smoke and shock waves that extend outside of the military base, according to the release. There is no cause for alarm.

Several different agencies, including law enforcement, are also taking part in the training this week.

Here is a full training schedule:

Monday (Nov. 2): Convoy training – artillery simulators, smoke and noise from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tuesday (Nov. 3):  Day and Night – Convoy training – artillery simulators, smoke and noise from 12-noon to 11 p.m.

Wednesday (Nov. 4): Day and Night – Convoy training – artillery simulators, smoke and noise from 12-noon to 11 p.m.

Thursday (Nov. 5): Law Enforcement training; Convoy Training; Range Firing – Explosive demolitions, smoke, noise from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday (Nov. 6): Helicopter aerial gunnery, Convoy Training and Artillery live fire – helicopter aircraft noise, artillery explosive noise, ground shockwaves and at night time aerial flares of various colors from 7 a.m. to midnight.

Saturday (Nov. 7): Helicopter aerial gunnery, artillery live fire – helicopter aircraft noise, artillery explosive noise, ground shockwaves and at night time aerial flares of various colors from 7 a.m. to midnight.

Sunday (Nov. 8): Helicopter aerial gunnery, artillery live fire – helicopter aircraft noise, artillery explosive noise, ground shockwaves and at night time aerial flares of various colors from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m.
