ROGERS (KFSM) — Hobbs State Park – Conservation Area will be shutting down camping areas, the shooting range and several trails during the permit hunting season this fall.

All but two trails, Ozark Plateau and Historic Van Winkle, will be closed during that period, according to the park’s website. The two trails that will remain open are half-mile loops.

The shooting range will also be entirely shut down during the permit dates, and camping on Pigeon Roost trail will not be permitted.

Permit hunting season dates are:

Youth Modern Gun: Nov. 7-8

Muzzleloader: Nov. 14-18

Modern Gun: Dec. 5-9
