Van Buren Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Sexual Assault Charges

VAN BUREN (KFSM) — A Van Buren pharmacist is accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

Mike Hogan, 57, was arrested Friday on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault.

According to an affidavit, Hogan told investigators that he rubbed the victims stomach because they did not feel well, but denied anything further.

The interview, according to investigators was over after that.

“Subsequently he was interviewed. Basically he advised us that he was going to retain a lawyer but we believe that with the evidence presented to us that we had enough evidence to make a probable cause arrest. He was arrested and charged,” said Crawford County Sheriff Ron Brown.

Hogan was released from jail on a bond of $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

He probably leaned over and asked the little girl, so your tummy hurt? She probably said, yes. He probably patted her on the stomach and said, it will get better honey. Then I’m sure the mother screamed, call the police, this man just touched my daughter. Or, she went home and thought about it and realized she could possibly get some money out of this.

In todays world your guilty until proven innocent. Then your only innocent if you can afford to proven innocent. Crawford County is well known for going on these types of witch hunts. All you can do is wait and see.
