TONTITOWN (KFSM) -- A Tontitown a murder suspect pleaded guilty Monday (Nov. 9) to capital murder in the 2014 death of Dawn LeAnn Frazier.
Brock Atkins, 20, pleaded guilty to capital murder to avoid the death penalty. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Atkins ran Frazier down outside a home on Story Lane near Tontitown and stabbed her in the throat until she died. Authorities believe the attack started with an altercation about drugs.
Frazier’s family told 5NEWS on multiple occasions that she was killed because she was a confidential informant for local law enforcement.
