(KFSM) -- Attorney General Leslie Rutledge stopped by 5NEWS This Morning Tuesday (Nov. 10) to talk about Arkansas Veterans .

This spring, Rutledge began the first-ever Military and Veterans Initiative at the Attorney General’s office as a way to show support to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line for us.

Rutledge said the Attorney General's Office is working to not only serve and protect military members while they are serving out country, but also when they are back home.

General Rutledge said she has been visiting with military and veteran stakeholders across the state to learn how the Attorney General's office can be of assistance.

Tuesday, Rutledge will join the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs in partnership with Workforce Services for a ribbon cutting to open the doors at a new District 2 Veteran Service Office in Fayetteville.
