MULDROW (KFSM) — A memorial service has been scheduled for a local veteran who was killed trying to free 70 prisoners about to be executed by the terror group ISIS.
The service for Master Sgt. Josh Wheeler will be at Trinity United Methodist on Nov. 24, 2015 at 10 a.m., according to Wheeler’s grandmother.
Church staff said the Wheeler will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.
The church at 1601 E Shawntel Smith Blvd sits between Muldrow and Roland.
The service is open to the public.
