FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- A Grammy award winning singer will be taking the stage Thursday night (Nov. 12). Country music star LeAnn Rimes will be singing all of her biggest hits at the Fort Smith Convention Center.

LeAnn Rimes has sold over 44 million albums and won two Grammys as well as 12 Billboard Music Awards. The artist has been unstoppable since rising to stardom at age 13 with the release of her popular song entitled "Blue".

The concert is part of the 'Season of Entertainment' at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. The university brings in a series of plays, musicals and symphonies for the students to enjoy for free.

Organizers said they hope the 'Season of Entertainment' will expose the students to a variety of arts so that when they graduate it's one more experience they'll have under their belt.

Ticket prices vary from $42 to $45 depending on the location inside the performing arts center. If you want to purchase a ticket, contact the UAFS Box Office at 479-788-7300. Tickets will also be on sale at the door.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
