Garrett’s Blog: Up To 5″ Of Rain Next Week!
In the short-term, terrific Fall weather will wrap up the workweek and be in place for much of the upcoming weekend.
The next upper level system is a slow mover with widespread rain chances likely into early next week.
The highest rain chances will be on Monday and Tuesday.
The rain will be caused by a large area of low pressure moving across the southern states.
The influence of the subtropical jet off the west coast will feed rich moisture into the area and rainfall totals will be high.
Unlike the last few systems, severe weather is not anticipated.
