BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — Crystal Bridges acquired a new art exhibit, which also happens to be edible.

The piece is called “Untitled” (L.A.) and is a work by Felix Gonzalez-Torres in 1991, according to a press release.

The work was purchased at Christie’s Postwar Contemporary evening sale for $7.67 million, according to Artnet News.

The work includes small, green, cellophane-wrapped candies spread across the floor of the art gallery, the release states. It’s meant to be an interactive exhibit where viewers can not only touch the work, but eat it as well.

The piece is unique in that it is a replenishable work of art. Although, ideally, it should weigh about 50 pounds, the release states.

The artwork should debut at Crystal Bridges in the coming months, the release states.

Gonzales-Torres, a Cuban-born American citizen, is a minimalist.
