(KFSM) — A music corporation has filed a lawsuit against a presidential candidate for the use of a song played at a rally for Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis.

Rude Music, which is owned by the co-author of “Eye of the Tiger,” Frank M. Sullivan III, has demanded a jury trial after filing a lawsuit against GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, according to court documents.

The complaint against the former Arkansas governor states:

“Huckabee for President knowingly caused a recording of ‘Eye of the Tiger’ to be publicly performed at a campaign appearance…Mr. Huckabee appeared at a Grayson, Kentucky rally supporting Kim Davis, the controversial county clerk who gained national attention after refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples; ‘Eye of the Tiger’ was played as Mr. Huckabee escorted Ms. Davis from the Carter County Detention Center.”

Rude Music asked to be awarded reasonable attorney fees, disbursements and costs from Huckabee, as well as any other relief the Court may find necessary, according to court documents.
