Two People Die In Single-Car Accident In Bella Vista

BELLA VISTA (KFSM)– Two men are dead after losing control of their car and crashing into trees in Bella Vista Friday night (Nov. 20), according to Arkansas State Police.

A preliminary fatal crash report states 20-year-old Josiah David May of Springdale was driving on Trafalgar Road at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway and hitting several trees.

The passenger in the 2005 Chevrolet was 24-year-old Christopher James Ruiz of Gravette, according to the report. One victim was taken to Mercy in Bella Vista. The other was taken to Washington Regional in Fayetteville. The report states both men died.

The single-car accident happened around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Trafalgar Rd. and Reed Lane, according to the report.
