Arkansas Loses NIT Tip-Off Consolation Game

Razorbacks finish NIT Tip-Off with loss to Stanford.

BROOKLYN, NY (KFSM) – The Razorbacks lose to Standford 69-66 in the final seconds to finish fourth in the NIT Season  Tip-Off Friday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Arkansas lead the Cardinals until the final two seconds of the game when Standford got the ball as a result of the Keaton Miles defensive goal tending infraction, and a layup from Marcus Allen gave them the lead.  Two free throws from Roscoe Allen Gave put Stanford up by three, Dusty Hannahs had a chance for the Hogs to send this one to overtime, but missed his shot from behind the arc for the loss.

Anthlon Bell lead the team with 17 points, but only two rebounds before fouling out. Moses Kingsley was better off the boards leading the day with 12 rebounds, and 12 points for his double-double. Kingsley also fouled out of the game.
