While transporting the suspect to the Benton County jail, officers said the handcuffed suspect was able to open the rear door of the police car.

The incident occurred on State Highway 59 near the Gentry city limits, according to police. The officer who was transporting the suspect tended to him until emergency medical personnel arrived to the scene.
