Four Hogs Named To All-SEC Teams

Four Razorbacks were named to All-SEC teams announced Tuesday.

Four Arkansas Razorbacks were named to the 2015 All-SEC first and second teams voted on by the conference’s coaches announced Tuesday.

Tight end Hunter Henry, and offensive linemen Sebastian Tretola were named to the first-team while running back Alex Collins and offensive linemen Dan Skipper were named second-team.

Henry, who leads the league tight ends with 46 receptions and all FBS tight ends with 647 yards, made the list for the second year. In 2014, Henry was on the second-team list. He was also named a USA TODAY All-America first team choice on Tuesday.

Tretola was named SEC Offensive Linemen of the week earlier this year. Over 25 starts, Tretola has allowed a half-sack to help Arkansas lead the SEC in the fewest sacks allowed in his two seasons starting. Skipper was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week following the Hog’s win over LSU. In 33 starts, Skipper has played three different offensive line positions. Arkansas is one of three teams to have multiple offensive linemen on the list.

Collins joins Arkansas great Darren McFadden and Georgia legend Herschel Walker as the only three players in SEC history to start their careers with three straight 1,000 yard seasons. Collins’ nine 100-yard rushing games are tied for the SEC lead and just one off of McFadden’s program record of 10 set in 2007.
