LITTLE ROCK — Two Arkansas State football players were arrested on drug charges Tuesday morning (Dec. 8).

Tyler Trosin, 22, and Christopher Stone, 23, are facing charges of possession of methamphetamine or cocaine, according to the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office jail roster.

Blake Anderson, head coach for the Red Wolves, released the following statement:

“We are aware of the unfortunate and disappointing incident that occurred this morning with Chris Stone and Tyler Trosin.  We have notified their families, and we are in the process of gathering all the information.  Once we have all the facts surrounding this incident, we will move forward accordingly.”

Stone is listed on A-State’s roster as a defensive end Redshirt Senior. Trosin is a wide receiver and is in his senior year, according to the roster.

Two Red Wolves Football Players Arrested On Drug Charges

The Arkansas State Red Wolves will be taking on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday, Dec. 19 in the New Orleans Bowl.
