GRAVETTE (KFSM) — An arrest warrant was rescinded on Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 9) for a Gravette High School teacher accused of sexual assault, according to online court records.
The request that the order be canceled was granted by Circuit Judge Brad Karren, records state.
Harry Almond, 56, didn’t show up for his arraignment Tuesday (Dec. 8), so a warrant was issued for failure to appear, according to the circuit clerks’ office.
Almond was arrest Oct. 27 on suspicion of second-degree sexual assault after inappropriately touching a student he asked to his home to help him pack, according to the Bentonville Police Department.
